This project involved the conversion of a character commercial building formerly used as a shed to restore old cars into 6 serviced offices. The design takes advantage of the character of the old structure with the new offices designed as a neat white box to slip into the middle of the shed with circulation spaces either side. This helps to accentuate the blending of the new and the old. The original trusses are left exposed to provide texture and character. Strip windows, skylights and white walls all help to direct natural light into the centre of the building.
